guys are coming out of the three fourth grade is good just picked up a couple months ago so we're just getting started but he's doing a great job first song we're going to play for you to the very first all we all going to be there Star Plumbing Deborah Kerr do you think Aunt Lisa original I think they were doing an amazing job learning to play the guitar we're only practicing here at 2 for a little while so I think they have a great start we probably going to have some famous musician that he is a great art teacher but he also does all of our technical stuff here all of the video all of the editing as well as ABC cool with me arts and basic curriculum on as an ABC School the pub Grant funds from the South Carolina Arts commission this allows us to provide more Arts experience and exposure for our children 10 to make probably one of the biggest projects we have ever done is only going to be installed soon the glass windows across the front of the school that Archway that goes up about 15 that is going to be a stained glass mural that are 4th grade students from last year worked on so do you desire current fifth graders each worked on TV this he was put into one of the big collection. they come from the artist is Carolina roar I think she said that she has fired or migration several hundred pieces of glass in order for this song and played it so it's not it's taking us we're now in about a year into this project it's been quite an ordeal this stained glass was not what I considered stained glass with the quartering ATB perfect it is more of a mural and it is been fired so the pieces of glass actually have been fused together so we have learned a lot about and we're excited for it but we are now heading to we are now up for our next part of the show this is RC is poor and Miss Whitfield will be leading them hey good morning everyone the first song that I was listening to the song everyone play Pandora change it. is it okay to make it perfect now the people because I've been working hard on your phone Dora Explorer games it seems that we're having a little bit of technical difficulty with our second home for the chorus so I'll just explain some of the other price that we have for our children that working through the art standards that you just have to learn in fifth grade social studies it westward expansion we had children made God the projects of either near the houses of the Prairie and types of animals and drain or maybe something is looks like one of the wagons those were good project but we wanted to we wanted to elevate watch the children were learning and better technology than they were using so through this Grand we've been able to purchase a classroom set of iPad part of the iPad app and have programs that are available through that we can do stop motion Movie so the children in fifth grade this year are working in groups and they aren't free dating is about a 30 second video that teaches one of the concept with Westward Expansion so we had to show them they had to actually learn how to make animation figure out what they were actually going to then in this movie they had to do the research on it to get the facts together they had to design the set and then they had to actually make this thing move I hit one of I think that just has blew me away it take 14 pictures to make one second I'll just movie for this children are having to figure all this out so after they get the movie May then they're going to have to go back and try to put the sound effect to it maybe some narration with it instead of us teaching them all the time so they had actually learned those Concepts in applied them and then still motion Movie me I'll be 54 years old and thinking about the way I learned and what you knows how history will talk to me I just got to lunch like 20 or 30 questions chapter 3 chapter naturally excited and it's what helped me more successful later on and the next thing I know that my I think she has worked with all of the classes on hour of code at Long Middle School mr. Redford had a robotic class if he is we now so this hour of code that your children were exposed to hopefully is going to help them get ready and maybe be a little bit more exciting all about that robotic for that they're going to have access to over a loan I do apologize quit now going to be transitioning into each one of the individual classroom classroom that will prevent if it's awkward flat they will be singing Jingle Bell Rock and there is research to support us using the r he is the band teacher over at law he could probably tell you more about the research than I could but there is research that shows that children that they go into man they go into chorus then learn to play an instrument are going to be better Matthew direct correlation with that not only are you coming Mesa as the plug or just fun to know this is actually where the learning takes place this actually give to Children of a way to apply a lot of what they are learning or to make it real or what the teachers are I'm trying to keep the different mindset so one of the things that we are working on this year is trying to be more integration so in February we're actually going to have another parent night we're going to bring you in that going to be theme night where we are including the science in the bathroom is just fun but it is to bring all of them together and one project that we're working on man working on engineering working on the art is like one big project our next class Superbowl be this Outreach class they are going to be performing The 12 Days of Christmas one last get down one class to get up have some interesting facts wonderful this is the most wonderful time of the year for a couple of weeks every year in the world takes on a magical glow people see barrier and even winter somehow feels a little Cozier when do you celebrating a religious Festival like Hanukkah or Christmas or a secular occasion sure you're surely to have your own collection rituals and Customs to make the holiday season our favorite Christmas traditions around the world are loud proud and guaranteed noodles Vista Pawn HulkShare.
