hello my name is Miss Clark I am a fourth grade teacher at the I asked although this is my fourth year here this will be my second time teaching 4th grade my class will be self-contained which means that I will teach student Ela writing math science and social studies so they will remain with me all day we will be operating on a b schedule this year my students are on the a schedule that will attend schools on Mondays and Thursdays if they're on the Beach schedule then they will attend schools on Tuesdays and Fridays now students will be sent home with an agenda and they're supposed to keep up with this agenda every week it is their responsibility to write down all their assignments that they are expected to complete or if they have a successful year the homework that will be expected to read night for 20 to 25 minutes and recorded in the reading log and they will also have to complete in class assignments homework and assignments for the days that they are not in school voters will be staying home which it is the red folders all the students work that they complete will be sent in that folder if it is on the side that says return Please make sure that information makes it back to school I would like to discuss will be practicing social distancing and our goal is to keep students safe and we are trying to keep them sticky feet apart as much as possible they will be required to wear masks on the bus in the hallways the restroom cafeterias are whenever they speak cannot be maintained no students will be able to bring water bottles to school because they were not be allowed to use the water fountain safety purposes student 48 lunch and breakfast in the cafeteria and the Mills will be pre-packaged however students who bring lunch from home will not be able to heat it up recess daily and lunch and recess will be combined from 10:30 to 11:20 please make sure that you thought up for parent portals for students grades will be there the interim reports it will help you keep track of how students are doing and what kind of progress they are making now classroom expectations they are expected to listen carefully and follow instructions be respect be responsible and most of all treat others the way they would like to be treated no consequences for not following the rules student will be given to verbal warning they were have silent lunch loss of privileges in the classroom then we'll go to parent contact and student will complete a replacement form and if all else failed they will have an offer for all that I'm really not even looking for that to happen because I know we'll work through whatever our problems are in classroom incentives for good behavior and hard work we have the school store ticket classroom treat Scout and many other things that they will be able to earn a good behavior and hard work now parents will not be allowed and office no one will be able to laugh the classroom nor will they be allowed to eat lunch with the students will not be able to have birthday parties are at 7 in the outside food and volunteers are not allowed at this time Silverton buffet and elective schedules daily Now dismissal car riders and pick up will operate on the normal schedule will Brett the social distancing students can be dropped off at 7:20 a.m. and the school day starts at 8 a.m. but they will be dismissed contact information I used to communicate with you all class that allows me to upload pictures and show current activity that students are involved in the kind of give you an inside look of what they are learning I've already spent doubt links for you to join via email if you did not receive one just yet make sure you complete the parent contact information forms that will be sent home on this first day of school students returning back please sure did you sign up now look forward to having a great year and I can't wait to meet my student I look forward to seeing you bye-bye
